As one of the major announcements of Star Wars Celebration 2022, Respawn and EA confirmed that Jedi: Survivor was real and would be arriving in 2023. Even as fans are trying to find their thoughts on the first teaser trailer, Monaghan and himself have revealed his opinions of the game.

In a tweet after Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was unveiled, Monaghan said that the game is one has been working on for multiple years at this stage. While he did not say much about the themes that the story of Jedi The Survivor: A New Hope will touch on, he did talk to thematic aspects of the game with regard to Fallen Order.

"In the overall sense, it's quite interesting to find out that the subject to be discussed in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is likely to be even darker as Fallen Order.
