First released back in 2013 it was released in 2013. The PS4 has gone on to become not only one of Sony's most successful consoles, but also one of the best-selling video game platforms of all time. Despite this, Sony is now looking to sell the PS5 as its main equipment, which means the PS4 is likely to come to its final day. Thanks to the latest information from Sony and the PS5 we now have an understanding of when PS4 might actually go out of service.

Outlined in Sony's latest financial statement, it made clear that games for PS4 will disappear in 2025. This doesn't necessarily mean that older PS4 games will not be available for purchase, but Sony intends to stop releasing new games on PS4 by this point.

In the meantime, in 2025, Sony has estimated that by 2025, the majority of the revenue associated with Buy D2R Ladder Items games will stem directly from PlayStation 5, with titles on PC and mobile also bringing up the remaining portion of its income.
