World of Warcraft Classic Brings The Burning Crusade Back

Blizzard tainment's World of Warcraft franchise is expanding into a new market, though it's likely not the one you've been hoping for. The game's developer has announced an agreement and Scholastic to launch World of Warcraft : Traveler A children's series built on the video game series.

The book series is being aimed at children ages 8-12 so it is likely to not follow the same style as World of Warcraft the game which is rated as T for teens. The first hardcover book will be due out in November throughout the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada and a follow-up to follow in the year 2017.

Traveler takes place in Azeroth and follows a "young cast of World of Warcraft characters discovering the mystery and beauty of the world around them."

The book was written by Greg Weisman, known for his work on Young Justice and The Spectacular Spider-Man buy WoTLK Gold. The first book includes sketches drawn by Blizzard's Samwise Didier, and the cover was created by another Blizzard art director, Stephane Belin.
