World of Warcraft 's Mage Tower will be sticking around for the duration of time, Blizzard recently confirmed.
A popular piece of solo content The Mage Tower first debuted as part of the game's Legion expansion. When that expansion came and went, so too did the Mage Tower and its unique rewards. Blizzard recently reinstated the tower with new rewards in the Legion Timewalking event, a limited-time event which is scheduled to occur every few months.
In the near future, the Mage Tower will be a permanent fixture of Azeroth.
"Having been through feedback and witnessed the way it's played the way it was done, we think that a contest for personal skill being available only for the short period of every few months isn't in the spirit of these types of events." Blizzard writes. "As therefore, beginning the week of March 29 the Mage Tower can be accessed at any timeand is no more tied to buy WoTLK Gold the Legion Timewalking Bonus event."
