Players must use different methods to calculate their returns depending on how the fight presents its odds. There are three forms of odds: American, fractional, and decimal. Although they look different, they are just three ways of expressing the same potential return. 

American

American odds appear in two ways. The favorite has a minus sign in front, and the underdog has a plus sign. In our table, the favorite has odds of -125, which means predictions return 225 units when using 125 units. 

The underdog has odds of +225, which means predictions return 325 units from 100 units.

Decimal

Decimal odds are the simplest to understand, as they appear as decimals. Players must multiply their pick by the number to find out their return. So, the 3.25 odds return 325 units from a 100-unit prediction. 

Fractional

When using fractional odds, players must multiply what they lay for their prediction by the fraction and then add the original amount to find the return. So a 100-unit pick for odds of 8/10 returns 180 units in total.
