P2Pah: World of Warcraft Classic was definitely a delight. What's your overall impression on the team's willingness to return in the future to develop something like that?

John Hight: Super exciting. We have members of the World of Warcraft team that have been with the game from the very beginning. That's a lot of fun since very few people could claim to have worked on a game for 13. 14 years, and in some cases, for 20 years. In reality, a lot of them are in critical engineering areas that can be beneficial in helping us understand the differences between databases and the way in which the game was played back in the day.

When was the last time the decision was made to tackle this issue?

This is an ongoing internal discussion. I'm sure this was a regular thing through the years, surely? Then last year it hit an unstoppable level, and we really had lots of internal conversations since we're trying to make sure we offer the best experience to our players. Our main concern was going to be the ability to provide  buy WoTLK Classic Gold Blizzard quality for so many years. You don't want ruining the experience. It should be a real experience. But at the same time the people don't want any of the cute bugs we had in the past.
