On the most recent show of Hot Ones, Post Malone was asked about his passion for video games, especially in relation to D2R Ladder Items music. In reply, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he was doing Elden Ring in his personal life.
Evans said that he hadn't previously played, which led to Malone proposing the game. But, despite this suggestion, Post Malone explained that basically he has to turn the music off when performing Elden Ring because it stresses his body too much.
"I make the music go all the way down [in Elden Ring] because it is so insane. It's literally like choirs, not of angels, but of demons. They're going to f*** you up.' There's no way that you can will survive," Post Malone said about the soundtrack to the game. "After a fight I'm shaking, so I'm required to go out smoking and think, 'I have to decompress.'"

He specifically mentioned titles like Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda, and Mario Bros. as just a handful that he adores. Although The Elden Ring score might be quite overwhelming for him to handle at times, it seems like he's not one to switch off the soundtrack in games at all times.
