The Shattered League is running from OSRS Gold today through March 3. If you've been thinking to hop back into Old School RuneScape, this could be the best opportunity to do it. If you're considering jumping in to Old School RuneScape, let us know your reasons below!

Runescape Outriders and Outriders aren't two games that people imagine playing in tandem, so seeing an Runescape player sign up to r/Outriders seem like a shock. This led to a wholesome post and interaction between players of either or both games. It all boils down to a single former Jagex employee: David Osborne, otherwise called in the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.

Osborne recently announced on LinkedIn that he's quit Jagex after 15 years of content editing in narrative design, as well as lead design. He made the decision in order to "test his skills with the rest of the business." Osborne is leaving Jagex and is going straight to Square Enix on the publishing aspect, in the role of Senior Designer. He'll oversee "some fantastic games," starting with Outriders.

This information prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to reach out to members of r/Outriders, with a quick message on Mod Osborne and his role as the "warm and friendly "Dad" face of Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes everything that Osborne has contributed to the community over time, including some videos, including appearing as Mod Elfborne, promoting Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) as well as joining livestreams and supporting the company's goals.

Some communities or gamers would be annoyed by losing an iconic brand name, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to post their stories. One participant, for instance, claims that they've had to win and lose due to playing at both Runescape along with Outriders. OSRS Gold For Sale were excited at this news, including those who had never played with Osborne before, due to this glowing recommendation from a member of the Runescape community.
