More than a year has passed since the moment when the video that brings to light the biggest scandal in the history of the Second Republic, Ibiza-Gate.

Now we are going to tell you about one of the main characters of the Irena Markovic Ibiza Affäre participant, better known as the Ibiza broker.

The young woman from Serbia gained her first popularity in 2010 when she worked as a model for fashion magazines. However, this work did not bring Irena the salary she wanted. However, the job could give her access to high-society parties. At one of these parties, she met an influential member of the right-wing populist party, FPÖ. That's where it all began.

Thanks to their acquaintances with politicians and local celebrities, Irena started her series of parties called “Scandalous,” which only selected people could attend. Everyone knows what happens at such parties... The majority of politicians at her parties are members of the FPÖ. This is how she meets the club chairman of the right-wing populist party, HC Strache.

The affair did not last long, and the separation was dramatic, with mutual insults and hatred. After only one month, HC Strache was already with Philippa. Irena did not forgive him for that.

In 2016, Irena founded her real estate agency, Lifestyle Properties. At the beginning of 2017, half a year before the Ibiza events, her old acquaintances, lawyer Ramin – companion of her very close friend and well-known TV presenter – and Munich detective Julian, propose to Irena to make easy big money. They met about 50 times regarding these “business projects”!

At one such meeting, the lawyer introduced Irena to the Russian oligarch. We do not know if Irena was aware that the so-called oligarch was, in fact, an actress. However, we know for sure that the realtor was involved in the financial affairs of the Ibiza Group. The investigators have all the email correspondence between the oligarch and the broker. The two described in detail the future conversations of the broker and the oligarch with the politicians, as if the ladies were working on a script for a Hollywood movie.

Afterward, Irena introduces the oligarch Tajana and Johann Gudenus, with whom the realtor had a friendly relationship. It is known that the first deal-hunting estate sale should be. But that's not all: the oligarch was to invest in the company Tajana Gudenus was to run. It would have to be 300M EUR of unknown origin. Of course, for certain favors. Everyone was to benefit. Irena, as well as the Gudenus family and Strache directly. On the net was even a copy of the secret 1 M EUR deal between the broker and Tajana Gudenus.

In July 2017, there was a well-known meeting between Strache, Gudenus, and the oligarch in Ibiza. This story already knows all of Austria, if not the whole world. The only thing to say about this is that all the events in Ibiza were carefully planned a long time before.

May 2019: the whole world learns about the Ibiza gate. By this time, Irena is already married to a real estate investor. She is still a realtor in Vienna, and all the scandalous parties are in the past. And what is Irena's reaction? She knew very well about all the scandal details. She had photos of the “Russian oligarch.” She had all the email correspondence with the lawyer, detective, and oligarch. However, she did not contact the police or the press. She tried to hide her participation in the Ibiza affair.
Is this how an innocent person behaves?

Only in November 2019 Markovic gives a press interview. Only after the journalists learned about her participation in the scandal did she publish photos of the oligarch. However, each of her actions is monitored by a group of lawyers. She tries to play the role of a stupid and naive person involved in the scandal by chance.

On June 4, 2020, the “Ibiza” U-committee began. The whole 12-hour-long video is still not available to the public. We will closely follow the investigation and hope for justice.
